110  Rhodochrosite Sweet Home Mine, [Fluorite Raise], Alma, Alma District, Park Co., Colorado, United States miniature 4.1 x 3.8 x 1.5 cm eBay: Here is a gorgeous rosette of hot pink rhodochrosite rhombs, some glassy, some matt. Some of the crystals reflect light with a shimmery silver glow from deep within the crystal. There's a little smidgen of tetrahedrite matrix on the bottom; other than that this is an all rhodochrosite specimen made up entirely of rhombs growing together in a very aesthetic and eye-catching way. A particularly interesting feature of this specimen is that you can see growth layers on the larger crystals when you shine a light on them. The large crystal on the top right edge has three distinct zones when you look at this this way. -----
