168 Cobaltian Calcite Quiruvilca (La Libertad, ASARCO) Mine, Quiruvilca District, Santiago de Chuco Province, La Libertad Department, Peru small-cabinet 5.5 x 5 x 4 cm Rob: An exquisite pink cobaltoan calcite, with crystals that appear as finely stacked thin plates piled up in pillars, with super luster and just wonderful color. This IS peruvian, as a friend got it there, but it sure looks Russian in form and is thus even more interesting as it is from Peru and not Russia.
