340 Rhodochrosite Uchucchacua Mine, Oyon Province, Lima Department, Peru small-cabinet 7.5 x 5.5 x 4.3 cm Dan: A 2.5 x 4 cm open vug lined with sharp dark red scalenohedral rhodochrosite crystals to 8 mm in size. The rhodochrosite crystals are 'sugar coated' by a fine druse of sparkling micro quartz. The bottom of the matrix is sawn flat for display as shown in the photo.
