Deaccessed 60 Dioptase Tsumeb Mine, Tsumeb, Otjikoto Region, Namibia thumbnail 2.1 x 1.5 x 1.5 inches eBay description: An absolutely stunning example of this famous species!!! This specimen is almost entirely comprised of emerald green dioptase!!! This fantastic specimen has amazing crystals on both the front and back!!! The crystals have choice, ideal color –it literally does not get any better than this!!! The crystals are all quite gemmy and show amazing play of light internally, however this is best appreciated in person!!! The crystals are razor sharp and have ultra-glassy luster!!! These chunky crystals are all appreciably sized as well, ranging in size up to .5 inches!!! The specimen has no significant damage on either display face as well!!! This specimen’s high quality literally made it difficult to photograph, simply because the crystals were so richly colored, so gemmy, and the play of light so intense!!!
