893 Rhodochrosite on Quartz Osikovo Mine, Deveti Septemvri Complex, Madan, Rhodope Mts, Plovdiv Oblast, Bulgaria miniature 2.5 x 2.8 x 4.5 cm A cluster of quartz with associated light pink rhodochrosite. The rhodochrosite is hollow indicating that it is likely a cast after a previous carbonate such as manganoan calcite. A classic miniature from this ore body.
