953  Hematite with Quartz Cumberland, England small-cabinet 6.5 x 4.5 x 2.5 cm ex. Nettie and Martin (Marty) Dopler #211 (one of the last specimens listed in the catalog) in my great-grandparents' collection, this is a pretty example of "Kidney Ore" hematite, in three primary round botryoids, which are in turn almost completely covered with sharp bladed hematite crystals to perhaps 2mm, and accented on one side with gem clear, pyramidally terminated calcite crystals. In two small spots (5mm) the classic "kidney ore" habit pokes through the blades. label Mineral Occurances
